Colin's Two Months Old!

Colin had his two month check up this week. He was 13 pounds 4 ounces and 24 inches long! The nurse commented that he looked like he was four months old. Everything went well and he is doing great. Here are some recent pictures of him.

We spent the past weekend at my uncle's house in Mattapoisett and I think we may have had the nicest weather of the entire summer. Madison had a blast and spent most of the time in the ocean. On the way home she yelled "back to the beach" the entire time in the car!

West Hartford Water Park

Our favorite find this summer was a water park in West Hartford that Madison loves. Any place where she can get wet she is happy!

One of our favorite spots to help Madison burn some energy is the North Street School playground. She loves the slide and the swing.

Colin weighed almost 12 pounds at his one month check up and was in the 95th percentile for his height and weight. He still has not grown into his huge hands and feet.

I know he is going to be angry when he gets older and sees all the picture I took of him in the pink bouncer...it was Madison's and I looked everywhere for a cover for it but apparently they do not make them. Plus, just ask Drew...boys can wear pink.

It's very hard to get their attention when one of their favorite t.v. shows is on!

Madison now officially owns four pairs of sunglasses. She rarely takes them off whether we are inside or out. She usually wears them while she eats as well. She thinks she is very cool when she wears them on top of her head.

Slip and slide at auntie's house

Daddy had to pull her down the slide most of the time because she had a hard time figuring that part out.

Madison loves the water. Her lips were blue because the water from the hose was so cold but she refused to get out. She had a lot of fun sitting in the pool at the end of the slide.

Madison loves her new brother. He's been getting covered in kisses whether he likes it or not. She is very loving when she is not trying to sit on him.

Welcome to the world Colin Joseph Hoyle. Colin was born on 6/19/08 weighing in at 8lbs 3 oz.
